Learn More- St. Clement Vinyards is a small, premium winery whose history parallels the rich winemaking legacy of the Napa Valley. The winery is located on the landmark Napa Valley estate established in 1878 by San Francisco stained-glass merchant Fritz Rosenbaum, who created one of the earliest bonded wineries in the Napa Valley.
- The estate not only reflects the grandeur of yesteryear, but also is home to a modern state-of-the-art winemaking facility that offers highly respected ultra-premium wines. St. Clement is quietly building a solid base of winemaking expertise, vineyard knowledge and crucial long-term commitments from some of the most noted vineyards in Napa Valley.
- At the heart of this effort are the mountain vineyards that produce St. Clement’s benchmark wines. The Steinhauer Ranch Vineyard on Howell Mountain, the Progeny Vineyard on Mt. Veeder and the Armstrong Ranch Vineyard on Diamond Mountain are used to create the Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, the Napa Valley Cabernet, and of course, the legendary Oroppas. With well-drained soils and an elevation that puts it above the fog line, this mountain fruit creates wines of exceptional depth and richness. This is true Napa Valley terroir, and it is the essence of St. Clement.
