Directions for Preparation & Use: Use as directed by a doctor. Your baby's health depends on carefully following these preparation, use & storage instructions. Failure to do so could result in severe harm. Ask baby's doctor about using infant formula and the need for boiling water or sterilizing bottles and utensils. Powered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor. 1. Wash hands & clean all utensils and surfaces. If boiling water for formula, bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute and let cool to room temperature. 2. Referring to mixing guide, measure & pour water into clean bottle, then use enclosed scoop to add powder. Tightly cover can. 3. Mix until powder is completely dissolved. Feed immediately; discard any formula left after 1 hour. Mixing guide: To make approx: 2 fl oz bottle; 2 fl oz water; Add powder: 1 unpacked level scoop (8.9g). To make approx: 4 fl oz bottle; 4 fl oz water; Add powder: 2 unpacked level scoop. To make approx: 6 fl oz bottle; 6 fl oz water; Add powder: 3 unpacked level scoop. To make approx: 8 fl oz bottle; 8 fl oz water; Add powder: 4 unpacked level scoop. Directions For Preparation & Use (Continued): Note: If not feeding right away, refrigerate prepared bottle at 35-40 degrees F (2-4 degrees C); use contents within 24 hours.
