Juusto™ Baked Cheese Traditional. Pasture pride®. Serve warm. Wisconsin cheese. Juusto is a buttery-flavored, flat and squeaky cheese made in Scandinavia for over 200years--called "Juustoleipa" or "Ostbrod", meaning "bread cheese". We bake each piece in our own special ovens to create a delicious toasty crust. Net Wt. 6 Oz. (170 g). "Traditional cheese created with milk from cows on Wisconsin pastures, hand milked by Amish farmers; delivered to our plant in chilled milk cans...the old fashioned way."
To serve: Warm in oven, microwave or skillet until it glistens; cut in strips and serve for breakfast or dessert with jam, honey or syrup. Great as an appetizer with salsa or savory dips. Keep refrigerated. Warming instructions: Remove from package. Microwave: Heat on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Stove top: Heat in skillet over medium heat 4 minutes per side or until cheese glistens. Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 20 minutes. Grill: Place on foil and grill 5-10 minutes. To serve: Cut into strips, triangles or cubes and serve as an appetizer or side dish.
