Because microwaves and stove-tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Stovetop: 1. Bring 1 cup water to a boil in saucepan; add whole package of frozen spinach. 2. Gently separate spinach with a fork. Bring to a second boil; stir, cover and reduce heat. 3. Simmer 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until frozen clumps are thawed and heated thoroughly. Drain. 4. Season to taste and serve. Microwave: 1. Place whole package of frozen spinach and 2 tablespoons of water in a I-quart microwave safe casserole dish. 2. Cover and microwave on high 6-8 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking time. Check for cold spots and break up clumps with a fork. 3. Stir spinach thoroughly and cook for additional 2 minutes. 4. Drain. Season to taste and cover, allowing to stand for food safety and quality before serving. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Do not refreeze. Refrigerate leftovers.
