Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Thawing (Defrosting): Do not open bag until turkey breast is defrosted. Keep turkey breast cold. Do not thaw at room temperature. Place on try in refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Preparation: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Remove breast from bag. Rinse inside and outside of breast with cold water. Drain well and pat dry. Roast immediately. Using a meat thermometer (Recommended): Insert into the thickest part of the breast without touching bone. Microwave: We recommend conventional oven roasting. If you do use a microwave, refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for approximate cooking times. BBQ Grill: Your premium Young Turkey Breast is delicious when grilled. Follow grill manufacturer’s directions. Roasting: Place breast-side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush breast with vegetable oil. Roast 325 degrees F. According to chart below. Meat thermometer should read 170 degrees F. Estimated Roasting Time: Weight (lbs.) 3-4; 1- 1-1/2 hours roasting Time (325 degrees F). 4-5; 1-1/2 – 2 hours roasting Time (325 degrees F). 5-6; 2-2-1/2 hours roasting Time (325 degrees F). 6-7; 2-1/2 – 3-1/4 hours roasting Time (325 degrees F). When breast is golden brown, cover with a loose tent of aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. For easier slicing, let stand 10 minutes. Keep frozen.
