Great for thickening sauces & gravies. Easy Gravy: Total time: 7 min. 3 minutes prep. 4 min cook. Ingredients: 3 Tbsp Food Lion corn starch; 1/4 cup cold water; 2 cups meat juices or broth salt & pepper to taste. Directions: Combine corn starch and cold water in a small bowl. Stir corn starch mixture slowly into meat juices in a small saucepan. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture comes to boil. Boil 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
