Cooking Directions: Stove Top: Empty 1 envelope soup mix into medium saucepan. Stir in 4 cups (32 fl oz) water and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Microwave: Combine 1 envelope soup mix and 4 cups water in a 2 qt. Casserole. Heat uncovered on high power until boiling (about 8 minutes), stirring occasionally. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Onion Dip: [5 min preparation] [2 hour chill]. Ingredients: 1 Envelope. Food Lion onion recipe soup & dip mix. 2 cups: Sour cream. Directions: Combine Food Lion onion recipe soup & dip mix and sour cream; mix well. Cover and Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers, chips or fresh vegetables. [Makes about 2 cups].
