Cornbread: Total Time: 35 min; 10 min prep; 25 min cook. Ingredients: 2 cups Food Lion Self-Rising Yellow Corn Meal Mix; 1-1/4 cups whole milk, cold; 1 large egg, lightly beaten; 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat an 8-10 inch ovenproof skillet or square pan with oil or shortening and place in oven to heat. Combine corn meal mix, milk, egg and oil together. Pour into hot skillet or pan. Bake 8-inch skillet or baking pan for 25-30 minutes. 10-inch skillet or baking pan for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Servings: 8-10.
