Medium Roast: Naturally sweet & balanced, smooth finish. Farmer direct | Air-roasted | Low acidity. Low Acidity: Our beans are air-roasted in-house to bring out a rich, well-balanced flavor with a smooth, low-acid profile. Beans from Brazil's Cerrado region naturally have low acidity due to the altitude, warm climate, and mineral-rich soil, making them gentler on the stomach. Family Owned: Our family's love for coffee spans generations. As a family-owned and operated business, we offer single-origin beans with cup scores of 82+. Farmer Direct: We partner directly with farmers who embrace sustainable practices, ensuring every cup not only delivers exceptional quality but also supports ethical and eco-friendly cultivation. By the Numbers: It takes an average of 1 tree to make one pound of roasted coffee! With a legacy spanning 5 generations, we continue to perfect the art of coffee, blending our love for community with a commitment to ethical trade. In 2010, our company started roasting as a way to connect locally to the mountains of Western North Carolina. We proudly source our coffee from regions with altitudes averaging 3,300 feet above sea level. Beans grown at this alititude tend to mature slower, producing a higher quality coffee with superior taste. The Pisgah Difference: At the heart of Pisgah Coffee Roasters is a commitment to sustainability, traceability, and exceptional quality. Uplifting community through both local and global connections is what the Pisgah Difference is all about. Beans for A Better Cause: We're passionate about our collaborations with local nonprofits and our fundraising program. For more details about our community initiatives, please reach out to us at fundraising@pisgahroasters.com.
