Directions

Planting Growing Instructions: 1. Place your unwrapped disk in the colored planter base. 2. Slowly pour 1 cup of water directly on the disk. Use a spoon to spread the planting mixture as it blooms before your eyes. 3. Slowly pour another half cup of water on the remaining disk. Use the spoon in the same manner to spread the germination mixture. 4. Use the spoon to aerate the mixture, and then press the medium flat and make the surface smooth. 5. Push the Strawberry seeds 1/8 of an inch into the soil, cover and smooth the surface of the soil. Plant 1 inches apart. The seeds prefer total darkness when germinating. 6. Put the top on your planted greenhouse and place it in bright, indirect light where it will not be easily knocked over. 7. Seeds will germinate in one to two weeks. You can grow them in the planter for 6-10 weeks before transplanting. 8. Keep top on until the plants are hitting the top of the lid, then remove. Prune any dead foliage from plants to encourage their growth. You will need to water them every 1-2 weeks when the greenhouse top is on. 9. Once you remove the lid, you will need to water your plants 2-3 times a week. 10. You will can transplant to your garden (8 inches apart) or into a larger pot when all fear of frost has past. They like lots of water and 6 hours of sun. 11. Do not plant them where the following plants have been grown: tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and potatoes. They can harbor organisms that are harmful to strawberry plants. 12. Your everbearing Strawberries will start producing edible fruit 4-6 weeks after flowering. 13. These very popular fruits are the first to ripen in the spring! They are perennial and will return for several years in northern climates. It is advised to dig them up, separate, and replant them every three years for the best yield.
