Stove Top Directions: Pick a Protein: 1-1/2 lbs., cut into bite-sized pieces. Smoked Sausage. Cooked Chicken. Shrimp (Add cooked shrimp during last 5 minutes of cooking time). Cook: Mix 33/4 cups water, Rice Mix, meat of your choice and 2 tbsp. vegetable or olive oil (optional) in 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving Tips & Tricks: Veggify: Add 1 medium tomato, chopped or 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained, 1 cup cooked corn or 1 cup broccoli florets.
