Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil(a) 2. Stir in rice(b). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes or until all water is absorbed. (a) Cooking Measurement Chart: For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Rice: 1 cup; Water 2-1/2 cups; Yield: 3-1/2 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 5.
