Long grain rice mix with vegetables & spices in a tomato sauce. 75% more than regular size. A new orleans tradition. Since 1889. No MSG added (except those naturally occurring glutamate). From the City's earliest days, the Spanish have left their mark on New Orleans cuisine and culture. Our Spanish inspired favorite combines seasoned long grain rice, bell peppers, onions, and garlic served in a rich, savory tomato sauce. Jazz it up with Zatarain's. More than 1,500 years ago, North African immigrants brought rice to Spain, where the crop thrived. It wasn't long before Spanish cooks were simmering rice with onions, bell pepper, garlic and tomatoes to create what is known in the U.S. as Spanish Rice. No colors from artificial sources.
